There are several staffing changes coming for the 2012-2013 school year that begins with the new balanced calendar on August 1.
Three of this year's sixth grade teachers are changing grade levels. Mrs. Ashley and Mr. Ellars will be going to fifth grade to teach science and social studies, while Mrs. Heller is moving to fourth grade to teach math in Mr. Hardesty's place. He's moving upstairs to teach math at the sixth grade level. Mrs. Olson, while remaining in sixth grade, is moving around the corner to teach language, science, and social studies. Mrs. Proper is moving into a sixth grade science and social studies position.
There are still a couple of open positions to fill. Interviews have been going on and those should be filled soon.

What was Max Math is now Max Lab to reflect the change of subject content and the web address has been changed to http://maxsci.blogspot.com/
