April 29-May 3

ISTEP Week
This week classes will be working on the multiple choice section of the Spring ISTEP test for this year. It's important that everyone gets a good night's rest, has a good breakfast each morning, and maintains good attendance (100%) during this coming week. Our homeroom will be testing in the 4th grade computer lab on Monday (math), Wednesday (language), and Thursday (social studies). Mrs. Knecht-Strong's and Miss Greulich's homerooms will be using the 6th grade and 5th grade labs respectively on those same days. There will also, of course, be some alteration of our regular daily schedule to accommodate the testing.

 D.A.R.E.
The D.A.R.E. program ended this week with the visit of three high school role models to speak to each of the classes. They met with Mrs. Ashley's classes on Tuesday and our classes on Thursday. The D.A.R.E. graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 8 in the Maxwell Gym with the picnic at the high school on Friday, May 10. Everyone is looking forward to the live performance by Retro Bill!
