- Observe and record the path the sun takes in the sky.
- Determine that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
- Read an expository article to build concepts of apparent sun movements.
- Observe that shadows form when sunlight is blocked by a solid object.
- Identify communication styles and understand how to use them effectively.
